Rise and Follow: 30 Days in MarkSample

The story doesn’t end at the cross. Early in the morning, women come to the tomb and discover it empty. An angel announces the news that has been echoing for two thousand years: “He has risen! He is not here.” The resurrection is the turning point of history—God’s victory over sin, death, and darkness.
Mark’s gospel closes abruptly, with the women trembling, unsure what to do. That might feel unsettling, but it’s also intentional. The story is left open-ended because the mission continues through us. Jesus is alive, and now his followers carry his message to the world.
Over these 30 days, you’ve walked through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. You’ve seen him heal, teach, confront, forgive, and serve. Now the question comes back to you: Who do you believe Jesus is, and what are you willing to do about it?
The same Spirit who raised Jesus now empowers you to live as his witness.
Reflection Questions:
- How does the resurrection give you hope today?
- What might it look like for you to live as a witness of the risen Jesus?
- Who in your life needs to hear the good news that he is alive?
