30 Days of Scriptures for Mental Health StrugglesSample

Day 23: God Does Not Fail
During my mental health struggles, I would wonder if God made a mistake when He created me because of the bipolar diagnosis. I felt like a failure, unworthy and useless. But then I was reminded of Luke 1:37 NIV. It says, “For no word from God will ever fail.”
This hit hard for me because, since no word from God will ever fail, His word to create me and give me life means He still did not fail. I am not a failure because of my mental health struggles, and neither are you.
This verse also demonstrates that we can trust God at His Word. If He said it, then He meant it. His promises do not fail. Therefore, I encourage you to trust God’s Word and His promises found in the Bible.
Prayer point:
Heavenly Father, Almighty God, thank you for never failing. Thank you for your Word and your promises. Thank you for creating me and blessing me to not be a failure despite my mental health struggles. I pray that you help me trust your Word and your promises. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
