Giving Thanks to God in the WildernessSample

His Word for Today: Book of Numbers 4:5-15
Touching what is holy led some to death. This shows how holy our God is. But when Christ became humanity’s sin so that we can receive righteousness through faith, we are God’s righteousness in Christ Jesus. Touching what is holy will not kill us because we are righteous in His sight.
But despite this amazing truth, what keeps us from being at rest in Christ? The pressures of this world can easily bring tension to our mind, soul, and body, but we have the choice to resist and withstand. We can choose to withstand the pressures and do all that the situation requires to stand victorious.
Today, let us seek His guidance to let us know what keeps us from resting in Him. Resisting the works of the devil and staying active to do the will of God can move us forward to fulfill the God given destiny.
May the Lord continue to richly bless you!

About this Plan

Let us reflect on how good He is even in the wilderness (especially during this season of Thanksgiving in countries where this is celebrated) through reading the Book of Numbers. This 30-day Devotional Bible Plan will be a lead up to upcoming Bible Plans that will cover the remainder of the Book of Numbers. Enjoy!
