Day 3: This Is My Story

Focus: You don’t have to know everything. You just have to share what Jesus has done in your life.

Cultural Connection: You don’t need the perfect words or image. Jesus uses the real you.

Devotional:

The man born blind didn’t have a theology degree or a flawless past. When questioned about Jesus, all he said was, “I was blind, but now I see.” (John 9:25) That simple testimony was powerful.

As parents, we often feel pressure to have the right answers. But what if your greatest impact isn’t your knowledge, but your story?

Jesus doesn’t need you to be an expert. He needs you to be real. Your honesty, your transformation, your "then and now" — that’s what your kids need to hear. Authentic faith inspires authentic faith.

Reflection Questions:

• Have you been hesitant to share your faith story because it feels incomplete or imperfect?
• How can you create space for honest conversations with your kids about what Jesus has done in your life?

Prayer: Jesus, thank You for reminding me that my story matters. Help me to share it with honesty and humility. Give me the courage to lead my kids not with perfect answers, but with real faith. Amen.

Family Connection:

At bedtime or during a drive, say: “Can I tell you something Jesus has done in my life?”
Keep it age-appropriate, honest, and short. Then invite them to share something God has done for them — even if it’s as simple as "Jesus helps me not feel scared.” These little conversations build spiritual confidence.
