5 Pillars of Faith & Finances: Anchored in God, Growing in Wealth

DAY 2 OF 5

Welcome to day 2: Pillar of Stewardship: Managing What You Have

Stewardship means managing God’s resources, not just our own. No matter how much or how little you have, it all comes from Him. Faithful stewardship isn’t about how much you make, it’s about how you manage it.

Being faithful with a little prepares you to handle more. Stewardship is the foundation for every other pillar, because it’s where faith meets discipline.

That means your budget isn’t just math; it’s ministry. How you handle money reveals how much you trust Him. Faithful stewardship builds peace, reduces stress, and honors God.

Let’s ask God to shape our hearts to be faithful managers, even when it feels small.

Lord, thank You for entrusting me with resources, no matter how small or great. Teach me to see every dollar as a responsibility, not just an opportunity. When I’m tempted to misuse what I’ve been given, convict me gently and guide me back to wisdom. Show me how to honor You with my spending, saving, and giving. Help me remember that even when resources feel scarce, You are still my provider. Let my stewardship be a reflection of my love for You, and may my financial decisions align with my purpose in Christ. Amen.

Stewardship sets the stage for wise decisions. Stewardship also sets the stage for self-control.

Tomorrow, we’ll focus on discipline: saying “no” today so we can say “yes” tomorrow. Take a moment to reflect, and I’ll see you on day three.
