10 Qualities of Influential ChristiansSample

Day 9 – They are Learning to Communicate More Effectively
Devotional:
Christian influence isn’t just about what you know—it’s about how you connect. Proverbs 25:11 says, “A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in settings of silver.” Influential Christians know that communication is both speaking and listening, and both require intentionality.
Whether in conversation, writing, teaching, or simply encouraging, effective communication builds bridges. When we truly listen to understand, we reflect Christ’s compassion. And when we speak truth in love, we reflect His wisdom.
Scripture: Proverbs 25:11 – “A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in settings of silver.”
Discussion Question:
How can you improve your listening or speaking this week to connect better with others?
Prayer:
Lord, teach me to listen well and speak wisely. May my words and my silence both honor You and build others up. Amen.
