Day 3: Healing the Wounds

Father wounds run deep, and sometimes we try to bury them. But hidden pain still shapes our thoughts and relationships. Healing begins when we bring those wounds into the light of God’s presence.

For years I didn’t want to face my pain. But when I finally brought it before God, He met me with compassion. His Spirit comforted me, and His Word redefined my worth. Slowly He began to heal places I thought would always be broken.

Healing doesn’t mean pretending the past didn’t hurt. It means allowing God to rewrite your story with His love.

Forgiveness—sometimes toward your father and sometimes toward yourself—is often part of the journey. Forgiveness doesn’t excuse the hurt, but it frees your heart from its grip.

God specializes in restoration. What seems impossible to you is possible with Him. He longs to bind up the brokenhearted and set you free.
