Keep Standing: When the Weight Feels HeavySample

Change the Station.
The enemy doesn’t need a new playbook…he just needs you to keep listening to the same old lies. From the beginning, his strategy has been simple: introduce doubt…distort truth…and distract your purpose.
He’ll send voices to question your calling…mock your progress…and magnify your mistakes. Some of those voices come from critics…cynics…and even well-meaning people who don’t understand your assignment. But the most dangerous voice isn’t out there…it’s the one in your own head.
That quiet whisper that says…
“You’re not enough.”
“You’ve missed your moment.”
“You’ll never recover.”
“You’re too late.”
“You’re not qualified.”
Left unchallenged, those voices don’t just distract you…they direct you. And if you’re not disciplined to drown them out…you’ll start making decisions that align with fear instead of faith…doubt instead of destiny.
But here’s the truth…you don’t have to accept every voice that speaks to you. Not every thought deserves your attention. Not every voice deserves a response.
Jesus said…“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.” John 10:27 (NIV)
That means there will be other voices…but only one leads to life.
If you’re not intentional about tuning in to His voice…the noise of the world will shape your choices. But when you train your spirit to recognize the Shepherd’s voice…you’ll walk in peace…power…and purpose…even in the midst of chaos.
You can’t control which voices show up…but you can choose who gets a seat at your table.
Today, ask yourself…Whose voice am I following?
Is it leading me toward obedience…or away from it?
If the enemy is loud…it likely means your purpose is close. Don’t let the noise change your direction…just change the station.
God is still speaking…
Fresh truth. New mercies. Every morning.
Tune in…and walk it out.
