40 Days to Awaken Your Sober MindSample

This world will try to tell you who you are based on the external, but God looks at the heart. He sees your inner character and intentions. You're not defined by your drinking habits, your past, or your slip-ups.
You are chosen, called, and crafted. You are a masterpiece.
1 Peter tells you that you are God’s special possession. You have been purchased with a price; the blood of Christ covers you completely. You were called out of darkness into His glorious light to display the glory of God!
Ephesians says you were made for a unique purpose. You were created with special gifts and talents that only you, a one-of-a-kind original, can bring into the world. Your identity is rooted in who God says you are, not what you have or haven’t done.
So today, ditch the labels: “addict,” “failure,” “not enough.” Step into who you really are. You are light. You are salt. You are His.
Prayer:
Father, remind me who I am because of Whose I am. Strip away the old labels and let me walk boldly in my identity as Your daughter. Empower me to walk in my true identity based on how You see me.
Journal Prompt:
Write an “I am” statement that reflects your true identity. Example: “I am clear, whole, and free in Christ.”
About this Plan

Have you found yourself at the end of a long day, wondering, “Is this glass of wine really helping? You’re not alone. Let's awaken your sober mind through presence, grace, and truth. We’ll explore what it means to pause, connect, and live in alignment. We’re going to look at what God’s Word says about freedom, peace, and wholeness. Each day, I encourage you to slow down and really reflect. Let this be more than just a reading. Let it be a rewiring. You are not broken. You’re being rebuilt. One day at a time, one choice at a time.
