✍️ Devotional Thought
When Jesus invites you to follow Him, He invites you into apprenticeship — to learn His ways by being with Him. Apprenticeship is more than sitting in a classroom. It is living life in His presence, spending time in prayer, listening to His teaching, and practicing His commands.

Jesus said, “Take up My yoke and learn from Me, because I am lowly and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” (Matthew 11:29). An apprentice learns by spending quality time with the Master. Prayer and the Word are not optional extras — they are the lifeblood of apprenticeship. They are how you hear His voice, align with His heart, and find rest for your soul.

When you prioritize time with Jesus, you are shaped by His character. Like the disciples, who spent every day with Him, your life begins to reflect His life. Apprenticeship is costly in terms of time and attention, but it is the only way to truly know Him and be like Him.
