It started with you.

That day Solomon enjoyed peace; there was no war, no conflicts, and everything was well with his city.

He breathed confidence and knew that all was well with his people; furthermore, he enjoyed wisdom and riches.

However, none of this had started with him.

This was incredible; all that he now enjoyed was because of a decision made by someone before him.

Solomon could have said, "It started with you, Dad, it started with you, David."

David would face giants, break many structures, confront kings, and enjoy great popularity because of all those decisions he made.

And Solomon knew it.

Your generations will feel the joy of freedom, happiness, and peace, thanks to the good decision you made.

They too will say, "It started with you." If your children today feel freedom, can forgive, are in a better environment, it was because you made a decision just like David.

You decided to conquer giants, or like Abraham, to start a new path, even though you didn't know where you were going, or you made a decision as a route to follow Christ and be loyal to Him even though you have no idea what it means, or like Joshua, you decided that you and your house would serve the Lord.

Glory to God.

It started with you.

And today you can say something to your generations that is even more impressive and important... you can tell them: It started with Christ.

He did it all. He gave me freedom, gave me strength and trained me for battle, loved me and gave me a new opportunity, delivered me from my enemies, and guided me on a new path. And you will say to God: It started with You.

There is a song that says: "I want to be like You, God, because my child wants to be like me."

God makes a new beginning, and believe me, all the generations to come will give thanks for such courage and for your decisions, and for what God did, and what we could not do without Him.

Glory to God, and thank You, God.

Because I know, my God, that it started with You.
