The Great Adventure: 30 Days Walking With Jesus Sample

Day 21 – Strong and Brave
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."
Joshua 1:9 (NIV)
Think About It:
Have you ever had to do something scary, like go on a big and fast roller coaster or maybe even have to make a presentation in front of the class? Your heart might pound, and your hands might shake. That's totally normal! Being brave doesn't mean you never feel afraid. It means you trust God even when you're scared. God promises to be with you everywhere you go, in the cafeteria, on the playground, at home, and even in difficult and scary situations. When you remember that the strongest God in the universe is right beside you, you can face anything with courage!
Let's Pray:
Lord, thank You that I never have to be afraid because You are with me. Help me be strong and brave when I feel scared. When I am afraid, remind me that You are bigger than any problem. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Question of the Day:
When do you need God's courage most?
