Who Does God Use?Sample

Day 5 – God Gets the Glory
Devotional:
When God uses us in leadership, it’s never about elevating ourselves—it’s about magnifying Him. From fishermen-turned-apostles to untrained revival preachers, God chooses leaders whose success cannot be explained apart from His power. Our role is to offer ourselves wholeheartedly, as John Calvin put it: “I offer You my heart, Lord, promptly and sincerely.” Leadership in God’s Kingdom is simply saying, “Here I am, Lord,” and letting Him do the rest. In the end, all honor belongs to Him.
Bible Verse: Matthew 5:16 – “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
Discussion Question: What practical steps can you take to make sure your leadership points others to God and not yourself?
Closing Prayer: Lord, I offer You my heart—promptly and sincerely. May every influence I have and every decision I make bring glory to Your name alone. Amen.

About this Plan

God often chooses the unlikely, the reluctant, and the imperfect to lead. This 5-day devotional explores how He calls and equips ordinary people to influence the world for His glory. Through Scripture, reflection, and prayer, you’ll discover that your placement is intentional, your weaknesses can be strengths, and your leadership is ultimately about pointing others to Him.
