Why Not Now?Sample

Anchored Prayer
Each element of revival is powerful, but something unique happens when they're combined. Picture a science experiment. Four strong ingredients become exponentially more potent when mixed. The flashpoint comes when we combine them—igniting a spiritual explosion. One of these powerful ingredients is prayer.
Pearson said, “There has never been a spiritual awakening in any country or locality that did not begin in united prayer.”
Jeremiah, a missionary businessman in Manhattan, lived in personal revival. He started a prayer meeting. First day—no one came for half an hour. Then six came. A year later—10,000 attending. Eventually—one million saved. Revival began with a man who chose prayer.
Tozer said, “To desire revival and neglect personal prayer is to wish one thing and walk another.”
Prayer can feel like a long-distance call. You shout down the hall—only to hear, “What?” or “Can’t hear you.” You end up doing it yourself. But Psalm 65:2 speaks of a God who hears and answers prayer.
One Hebrew word for prayer, palal, can also mean "tent peg." So our prayer isn’t just shouting; it’s fastening ourselves to God. Each prayer is a hammer strike, driving us deeper into His presence.
It’s not just our communication, but our communion with God that changes things.
