Couples’ Prayer:

Father God, in the Name of Jesus, we thank You for our marriage. We thank You for resting in our home. Father, we declare that Your Peace rests here. Father, we declare that Your Security rests here.

Financial stability rests in our home. Father, we thank You for leading and guiding every aspect of our marriage. Father, we ask that You guide our thoughts and actions. We declare that You are the Lord over our hearts. Lord, let our marriage reflect You in private and in public.

Father, in the Name of Jesus, we crush anything that’s not like You. Father, we renounce any activity and conduct that’s not like You. Father, in the Name of Jesus, we surrender every aspect of our marriage over to You.

In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Action:

• Take some time today to read His Word together. (Suggested Reading: Ephesians 5)
• Remember the list that you made earlier? (The areas that need strengthening within your marriage.) Find some Scriptures that align with the items on your list.
• Meditate and focus on a few of these Scriptures throughout the day together.
• Call your spouse throughout the day and pray together. If you’re unable to talk to your spouse on the phone, choose to pray for one another during your lunch break, or on your way to work, or before a meeting.
• Keep your spouse at the forefront of your mind. Be intentional and pray for your spouse.
