Journey Through EstherSample

Welcome to A Journey Through Esther!
Over the next 5 days, you’ll begin reading through the book of Esther, one chapter at a time. There are no devotionals—just you, God, and His Word.
The book of Esther is a compelling story of courage, purpose, and God’s unseen hand at work. Though God’s name is never mentioned, His presence is woven into every twist and turn. Set during the time of the Persian Empire, this account highlights how one woman’s obedience and bravery helped save an entire nation.
As you walk through the first five chapters, you’ll witness divine positioning, unexpected favor, royal risk, and the unfolding of a greater plan. Esther’s story is a reminder that God often works behind the scenes in the most powerful ways, and that we’re each placed for such a time as this.
Take your time. Listen for God’s quiet leading. Let His Word inspire boldness and surrender in your own journey.
You’re encouraged to:
- Read each chapter slowly, and in more than one translation for greater understanding.
- Reflect on key scriptures or prayers.
- Respond with a prayer, journal entry, or quiet meditation.
Let this become part of your daily rhythm: one chapter, one day, one step closer to God.
Let’s begin with Esther 1.
Prepare Your Heart
Before we dive deeper, take a moment to slow down and reflect. “Where’s Your Heart Today?” is a brief, 3-question check-in that can help you pause and invite God into this journey.
Take the Quiz: Where’s Your Heart Today?
God sees your heart and delights when you draw near to Him. You’re not here by accident. Stay open as you walk through these next 5 days.
