Act Like a Man: 10 Days to Stop Making Excuses and Start Making Impact

DAY 1 OF 10

Face to Face with God

When God created the first man, He didn't speak him into existence like everything else. Instead, God got close—nostril to nostril—and breathed life into Adam. That first breath meant the first thing Adam saw when he opened his eyes was his heavenly Father's face.

This is what you were created for: face-to-face relationship with God. That restless feeling you get even when everything's going well? That's your soul crying out for what it was designed for. Money won't satisfy it. Success won't fill it. Only encountering the living God will.

The temporary things of this world will never be enough because you were made for eternal relationship. Don't settle for knowing about God—pursue knowing Him personally. Get face to face with your Creator through prayer, His Word, and surrender.

Challenge: Spend 15 minutes in prayer today without asking for anything. Just talk to God and listen.

Declaration: "I was created for face-to-face relationship with God. He is the only one who can truly satisfy my soul."

About this Plan

Act Like a Man: 10 Days to Stop Making Excuses and Start Making Impact

Stop settling for spiritual mediocrity. This isn't another feel-good devotional—it's a biblical challenge to the passivity killing your purpose. Based on 1 Corinthians 16:13-14, discover what God designed you for: face-to-face relationship with Him, meaningful work, and authentic leadership. From the Garden of Eden to Gethsemane, learn why boys consume but men sacrifice. Each day confronts excuses with Scripture, calling you to embrace responsibility, fight spiritual battles with spiritual weapons, and lead with love instead of laziness. No shortcuts, no participation trophies—just biblical truth for men ready to answer God's call.
