The Origin of Our StorySample

Blessing and Purpose
God's initial act towards humanity was not to issue commands or establish roles, but to bless. This blessing then opened the door to our purpose. The pattern of blessing followed by commissioning continues in our lives today. Before entrusting us with tasks, God envelops us in His love and grace, empowering us to be salt and light in the world. Pause to consider how aware you are of God's blessings in your life, remembering specific examples both large and small. Reflect on your unique God-given purpose and consider how you can be "salt and light" in your current circumstances. Whether at work, with family, or within your community, seek opportunities to preserve goodness and illuminate others with Christ's light. Always remember, your actions stem from a place of blessing—not as a means to earn it.
Prayer Prompt: Thank God for His blessings in your life and ask for guidance in living out your purpose with love and light. Pray for opportunities to be a blessing to others, acting as His representative in the world.

About this Plan

In Genesis 1, we rediscover the awe-inspiring story of creation and our place within it. God’s immense power and creativity challenge us to expand our view of who He is. The universe is not chance but purposeful design by an eternal, intimately involved Creator. This truth grounds our identity, shapes our purpose, and calls us to run toward Him in hardship. From peacocks to sunsets, creation’s beauty urges praise, revealing His fingerprints in every corner of the world.
