What the Bible Says About ... Volume 2Sample

Confession – 1
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
Hear the supplications of your servant and of your people Israel when they pray toward this place. Hear from heaven, your dwelling place; and when you hear, forgive. … Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. … Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.
Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy. … Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord.” And you forgave the guilt of my sin.
I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols. … They will walk with me, dressed in white, for they are worthy. …The blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.… The Lord has taken away your sin. You are not going to die.
Your sins have been forgiven on account of his name. … In Christ, God forgave you. … So as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.
