The Story of GodSample

Jesus weeps because of the blindness of Jerusalem. God takes no delight in the death of the wicked. God loves each person he created immensely. Let this be an encouragement to you - God's desire is for you to live and to know him and enjoy him forever! God's love for you makes you more precious than the stars in the sky. Let it inspire you as well. There is not a face you pass in the street that is not loved by Jesus like a mother loves her child.
Jesus makes a whip. He takes no delight in judgement, but he does it. Sometimes we think of judgement as the bad news that makes the good news of forgiveness so great. But judgement is good news too. If God, out of his great love for us, left his creation to an eternity of evil and suffering and sin, rather than intervene, that itself would be condemnation. But because God loves us, he intervenes and removes evil and wickedness so that whoever repents and believes can have eternal peace and wholeness.
Questions:
How does God's love for you encourage you? How does it inspire you to treat others?
How does God's justice encourage you? How does it inspire you to live differently?
