Day 3: Healing Through the Word

Scripture: “He sent out His word and healed them; He rescued them from the grave.” Psalm 107:20

God’s Word is not just inspiring, it’s healing. Psalm 107:20 tells us that He sends His Word and heals. The Bible isn’t a book of suggestions; it’s a living, active source of truth that speaks to the very core of who you are.

Every time you open the Word, you open yourself to the voice of your Healer. The Scriptures declare who God is, who you are in Him, and what’s possible by faith. When lies try to speak shame or despair, God’s truth speaks life and restoration.

You don’t have to understand the whole Bible; just start by opening it. Read a verse. Sit with it. Speak it out loud. Let it go from your mind to your spirit. Healing happens when you let the Word take root and rewrite the story pain tried to tell.

Find one verse about healing today and write it on a sticky note or card. Keep it with you and speak it throughout the day.

Prayer:

God, Your Word is life and healing to my soul. Help me to hunger for Your truth and to trust what You say above what I feel. Let Your Word be planted in me deeply. In Jesus’ name, amen.
