Love People?!Sample

“Don’t Tell Anyone, But…”
Yeah, don’t tell anyone, but honestly, I’m not the type of person who’s automatically like “I love people.” There, I said it! And I’m sharing this with you today because you definitely didn’t expect that from me, did you?
I’m Déborah, the one who loves to hug concertgoers after my performances, who enjoys traveling to Africa to help the poorest of the poor, and who visits sick people in hospices or hospitals...?
Given my past, when I’ve been physically and emotionally abused multiple times by people I trusted, and deeply hurt by churches and communities, it would only make sense for me to shut down and not want to have anything to do with people anymore.
But God.
God’s desire is for us to love. And God wants us to use His power to do that.
And today, He’s telling you: “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.” (Ezekiel 36:26 NIV)
Do you know what prayer I prayed about four years ago? I prayed, “Father, my heart has been hurt so many times by people. Give me a new heart and give me empathy for people!”
I don’t think I even realized it when I prayed that. But today, I realize that God heard and answered that prayer. Because almost instantly, He changed my heart!
And, loving does not mean “weakness”:
Jesus' love made Him strong on the cross, so why would you think that loving has anything to do with weakness or loss?
I’m so glad that He healed and changed me!
Yes, I’ve experienced it—this prayer has so much power!
Would you like to pray for God’s love to transform you today, too?
“Father, my heart has been hurt so many times by people. Give me a new heart and give me empathy for people! I want to love. Because You love me—and others. Amen.”
You are a miracle!
Déborah

About this Plan

God calls us to love others, not by our own strength but through His power. When we choose to love—even before being hurt—He makes us able. True peace comes from being right with God, not from pleasing people. We’re called to love everyone, but we shouldn’t lose ourselves trying to fit in. Instead, we’re meant to become like Jesus, not the world. Don’t let the world disturb your heart—let God lead you into love. And don’t wait for change to happen around you; let God bring change through you.
