It is almost time for Jesus to be handed over. Taking his disciples with him, Jesus goes to the Mount of Olives, to the Garden of Gethsemane. Jesus draws aside to pray, encouraging the disciples to do the same. At the prospect of what is to come, Jesus, full of anguish, sweats blood (Luke 22:44). In spite of it all, Jesus remains steadfast to the will of Father. The disciples - burdened by the events of the previous days - cannot stay awake – Jesus finds them sleeping, and alone he must face what is to come.
