Romans 8: Life in Christ by the SpiritSample

DAY 13—Heirs with Christ
Romans 8:16–17 continues this breathtaking identity: “The Spirit himself testifies… that we are God’s children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ.” You don’t just belong now; you have a share in the glory to come. Just as Jesus suffered and then entered glory, so too we follow that pattern: present struggle, future wholeness. N.T. Wright says, “Suffering is not the denial of family status; it’s the pathway by which glory comes.” When you hurt, don’t doubt your place. Hold your head high: your story ends in resurrection glory.
