How Does My Faith Really Work in Everyday Life?Sample

This will bring you JOY today! đ
Does this really make sense?
Because the love of family is a beautiful thingâbut donât forget: Godâs love can go even deeperâand believe me, HE sees YOU today!
âWhat did I just say all day long?â I asked myself after my family had left.
We had a beautiful day together with the grill out, celebrating a birthday. đ You should know, days like this donât happen too often because Iâm usually on the road. And maybe thatâs exactly why I just kept talking and talking and talking.
By the end of the day, I felt a little guilty: âWas that actually MEANING-ful?â
Ugh, that âWas what I said meaningful?â question can be a dangerous one, because it reveals a lot of what we usually try to keep hidden in our hearts.
And yes, I even talked about a church we visited a long time ago, where I (and we as a family) experienced some really deep wounds. I talked about a pastor whoâs currently making my life quite difficult⊠Oh, Iâve been there too. đââïž
But now the question is: Was it meaningful to talk about that with others? Wouldnât it be more meaningful to simply pray about it instead? đ€
The Bible challenges us with this: âDonât use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them.â (Ephesians 4:29 NLT)
Now we knowâand, to put it briefly and boldly, maybe this is the phrase we need for today: Zip your lipsâfold your hands. đ€
Yes, the Bible takes it seriously when it tells us to watch our words. In Luke 6, it even says: âBless those who curse you. Pray for those who hurt you.â (Luke 6:28 NLT)
Shall we take that on todayâchoosing to pray for others, not speak in a harmful way?
Thank you for choosing love today! â€ïž
You are a miracle!
