The Discipline of Study and Meditation

DAY 7 OF 7

Rooted and Fruitful

Key Passage: Colossians 2:6–7
Additional Verses:

  • Isaiah 26:3
  • Ephesians 3:17–19

Devotional Topic:

Those who are rooted in the Word cannot be shaken. Deep roots bring steady fruit. Let the Scriptures become your anchor and your overflow.

Reflection Questions:

  • Are you being tossed by life’s storms or standing firm in God’s truth?
  • How have you grown in your understanding this week?

Call to Action:
Write a short reflection: “This week, God has shown me…” Then pray it back to Him.

End of Week 2 Prayer:

Lord, thank You for the gift of Your Word. Teach me to love it, listen to it, meditate on it, and live it out. Help me not just to study the Bible—but to be transformed by it. Root me in truth so I can stand strong and bear fruit in every season. Amen.

About this Plan

The Discipline of Study and Meditation

This week invites you into the rich, transforming habit of opening the Bible not just to read—but to listen. To meditate on Scripture is to slow down, to linger in God's presence, and to allow His truth to renew your mind. The Word is alive and active. When we create space for it to speak, it shapes us into the likeness of Christ.
