Meet the Promise KeeperSample

Our wedding vows š°š¼āāļøšš¤µš»
Has anyone ever made you an incredible promiseāone that filled you with hope, security, or anticipation?
For many of us, our wedding vows are the most significant promises we will ever make. When Cameron and I got married, we wrote our own vows and, among other things, I promised Cameron:
āI promise I will always help you to focus your eyes on JESUS, in good times and bad ones.
I promise I will always pray for you in sickness and in health.
I promise I will worship God with you in triumph and failure.
And I promise I want to read His word with you as we grow old together.ā
I am happy to say that, by Godās grace, Iāve been able to keep these promisesāsome days better than others, but always with His help. āŗļø
Promises create expectations. They offer assurance. They give us something to hold onto.
God makes us promises, too! And His promises never fail.
God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill? ā Numbers 23:19 NIV
But why does the Creator of the universe feel the need to make us promises? Not because He owes us anything or needs to prove Himself, but to give us the assurances and hope to cling to.
You are so incredibly valuable in His eyes that God is willing to firmly, unwaveringly commit to you.
Over the next few days, we will explore the subject of Godās promises and some of the amazing promises God has made us.
Today, take a moment to write down every promise of God you can think of. If you need a little help, search the Bible or even Google. Scripture is overflowing with thousands of divine promisesāfind the ones that speak to your heart.

About this Plan

God's Word is filled with His promises, but how do we apply them to our lives? What do we do when it seems those promises aren't fulfilled? In this plan, we go beyond the promises to meet the Promise Keeper.
