Let's Pray About ItSample

Prayer Time
Finding the time to pray can be a challenge. There’s family, work, church, sports, the gym… Where do we start?
Jesus’ example of starting His day with prayer should be our model. That doesn’t mean you have to get up at 3:00 AM to pray. Just start your day in prayer with your heavenly Father. Consider this: God wants to be involved in the direction, order, and schedule of every step you take and in every event of your day. Imagine entering a meeting knowing that God already has the answer you need. Trust in the Father’s guidance. He will guide you and provide insight into every aspect of your day. In Jeremiah 33:3, God says to ask and He will tell you remarkable secrets you don’t know (but He knows) about things to come. You are His beloved child, and the Father desires to share intimate moments with you, any time, any place.
According to Hebrew tradition, the people were taught to pray three times a day. In the New Testament, we’re told to “Never stop praying” (1 Thessalonians 5:17), meaning never stop seeking the Father first, at all times, in all situations. When you’re stressed, distressed or anxious, call on God, and He will answer you (Psalm 86:7). Don’t ever be discouraged or afraid, because He is with you, will strengthen you, help you, and hold you up (Isaiah 41:10). Whether it’s starting your day with prayer, praying continuously, or asking God in times of need, that is the time to pray.
Some people wait until they're in the midst of a struggle before seeking the Father in prayer. Praying is often viewed as a last resort; when all else has failed, and prayer is the only option left. It’s the attitude of “I guess I’ll just have to pray about it” or “The only thing I haven’t tried is prayer.” Don’t just pray when things are going wrong, but also when they are going right.
Take time to give God praise, to worship Him, and to thank Him. Celebrate the life He has given you and the promises He has for you, including eternal life. Philippians 4:7 says, You will experience peace beyond anything you can understand just by His presence in you. And being in Jesus Christ, His peace will guard your heart and mind. Just spend time with God, your loving Heavenly Father, and enjoy the glorious, inexpressible joy that comes from spending time with Him (1 Peter 1:8).
Reflection:
When is the time to pray? Now. Making time to pray will actively start the process of seeking the Father in every situation and will provide you with answers in any predicament.
