Your Personal Comforter

I know that in difficult times, one often wishes for someone by their side, giving them a hug and saying that everything will be alright.

And you know what? You can have this Personal Comforter! Are you aware that you, as a child of God, have access to this Comforter? Did you know that in the Bible, the Holy Spirit is often called “the Comforter?”

"And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever." (John 14:16, KJV)I know, I know, when your heart aches and your daily life is filled with things that seem impossible, faith often falters. But this Comforter wants to help you with faltering faith. You can have access to Him – the Holy Spirit.

What often stands in our way? Self-doubt! “I'm not good enough. Why would the Comforter comfort me?”

You are important to God. He makes no exceptions regarding whom He helps and whom He doesn't. Anyone who comes to Him with their suffering will experience this comfort: “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” (Matthew 5:4, KJV)

The offer of comfort through the Holy Spirit is there. His offer is there. Where do you stand? Please don't let your self-doubt rob you of the opportunity to have the greatest comforter in the world! Because I know what it's like, I would love to pray for you:

"Jesus, you see how broken her heart is. You see the sadness that has taken hold. But I believe, because I have experienced it myself, that you can and will turn sorrow into joy! So, Holy Spirit, I ask you to bless her with comfort like never before. Thank you for the miracle that is ready to happen here! Amen!"
