What a Man Looks LikeSample

A Messenger on Mission
Paul called Epaphroditus “your messenger.” In Greek, the word is apostolos, meaning one who is sent. It’s the same root word used for the apostles—men commissioned by Jesus to carry the gospel to the world.
That title tells us something powerful: every man of God is sent.
You may not be a preacher or a missionary, but if you belong to Christ, you’ve been commissioned. Jesus said it plainly: “As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you.” Whether you're walking into a jobsite, a classroom, a boardroom, or your living room, you’re sent there for a reason.
This world doesn’t need more men who just exist. It needs more men who live with purpose. When you see yourself as a messenger, your daily life takes on eternal weight. That difficult coworker? Mission field. That teammate in the locker room? Mission field. Your kids at bedtime? Mission field. God has placed you where you are on purpose, for a purpose.
Epaphroditus didn’t just deliver a message. He embodied one. His life said something about the God he served. Yours does too. The question is: What message is your life speaking?
You don’t have to be loud to be a messenger. You just have to be faithful. Speak the truth. Show up with love. Live sent.
Reflection:
What would change in your attitude or actions if you believed God had sent you into the exact place you’re in right now?
