RETURN TO ME: A Journey Through the Prophets and the Gospel

Welcome to Return to Me—a reading plan that invites you into a powerful conversation between the prophets of old and the One who would ultimately fulfill their words. Over the coming weeks, we’ll journey through the books of Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Nahum, and Zephaniah—short books, often overlooked, but filled with passionate pleas, piercing truth, and surprising hope.

These prophets carry a consistent cry from the heart of God: “Return to me.” They call out to a wandering people, confronting sin, injustice, and apathy, yet always holding out the possibility of mercy, restoration, and a renewed relationship with God.

And alongside their voices, we’ll read the Gospel of Mark. Mark shows us Jesus—the fulfillment of every longing, the answer to every prophetic tension, the embodiment of the grace, justice, and love the prophets pointed toward. Mark doesn’t just follow the prophets; he reveals the One in whom all their hopes find their “yes.”

As we read, let’s ask the Holy Spirit to open our eyes, soften our hearts, and awaken us again to the voice of God. This is more than a reading plan—it’s a call to return, a chance to realign our lives with the heart of our Savior.

Let’s approach this journey with expectancy. God is ready to speak. Let’s return to Him.
