You’re Sent With Power

Imagine being one of Jesus’ disciples. One minute you're just following him around, learning and watching. Next, he sends you out to do what he was doing. Talk about intimidating!

But here’s the amazing thing: they actually did it. God worked through them—not because they were perfect or powerful—but because they trusted the power Jesus had given them.

The same is true for you.

When you choose to follow Jesus, he doesn’t call you to be a spectator. Instead, he calls you to be a participant.

Your family, your school, your team, your friend group, your community—those are your mission fields. And the Holy Spirit goes with you.

You’re not expected to do it on your own. Jesus said when you ask the Father in his name, he will work through you. You can bring healing, hope, and truth wherever you go. Not because you’re awesome, but because the Spirit is.

Ask yourself:

• Where is Jesus sending me right now?
• How can I bring his love, peace, and truth into that space?

Pray today for boldness. Ask the Holy Spirit to give you the courage to step into the mission field right around you.
