I want to encourage you today...
You never have to be afraid of sharing the Gospel.
Just as God is not ashamed to call you His beloved child, there’s no need to be ashamed to proclaim that He’s your Lord and Savior. It’s true—this world can be hostile to followers of Christ. People who reject God’s message have usually believed some kind of a lie about God anyway—that He’s not good, or maybe that He's harsh and critical. They reject what they don’t understand. But you and I know firsthand how wonderful God is. We can help people to understand that, also.
The Holy Spirit brings power and love, not fear. He's done wonderful things in your life, which are not meant to be kept private. So let everyone in on the Good News, which has radically changed your life! If that's true in your life, let people know!
2 Timothy 1:7 through 8 says…
For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity but of power, love, and self-discipline. So never be ashamed to tell others about our Lord.
You’ve been saved by the miraculous grace of God, but there are so many others who still don’t know Him—in desperate need of His mercy, cleansing, and salvation. Your story could help someone come to God. Imagine it! Your family members and friends could experience the same life-changing love you have received.
God will use you as you step out in faith. Go and make Him known. Share the Good News! Ask God to take away your fear and replace obstacles with open doors.
