Christ Over Everything - ColossiansSample

Theme: Jesus: The Center of Everything
This section of Colossians presents one of the clearest pictures of Christ’s supremacy in all creation. Jesus is the visible image of the invisible God. He’s not just a reflection of God’s nature—He is God Himself. All things, seen and unseen, were created by Him, through Him, and for Him. That includes the heavens, the earth, authorities, rulers, and you.
Not only did Jesus create everything, but He holds it all together. In other words, He is both the source and the sustainer of life. When everything around you feels like it’s falling apart, this truth anchors you: Jesus is holding it together—even you.
This passage invites us to shift our perspective. Jesus is not an accessory to our lives—He is the center of it all. Everything we do, everything we are, everything we hope for must begin and end with Him. Real peace is found in surrendering to the One who holds it all.
Daily Application: Take five quiet minutes today and ask: What have I centered my life around? Confess anything taking priority over Jesus, and invite Him to take His rightful place at the center of your thoughts, relationships, and decisions.
