MOTION "Who Will Go" 7 Day DevotionalSample

For Such A Time As This
There are moments when you find yourself knowing the truth while everyone else stays silent. Moments of decision often come when you least expect them.
That moment—that tension between fear and action—is where boldness is born.
And that’s exactly where we find Esther.
She didn’t grow up expecting to be queen. She was just a Jewish girl, living in exile, hidden in a culture that didn’t know or worship her God.
But when her people were threatened, God placed her in a position to act.
Esther had a choice: stay silent and stay safe, or risk everything to speak up.
She chose boldness. Not because she wasn’t afraid—but because she chose obedience over comfort.
She didn’t wait for someone else to go first. She stepped in, took a risk, and trusted that God would meet her in the middle of it.
Her uncle reminded her of this truth:
“Who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”
You might not be standing in a palace, but you are standing in a school full of people who desperately need the hope and truth of Jesus.
Boldness could look like inviting the student no one talks to into your friend group.
It could mean praying for someone when it feels awkward or standing up for what’s right when everyone else is staying silent.
Boldness isn’t being the loudest in the room.
It’s choosing to say yes to God when it would be easier to blend in.
God has placed you where you are—on purpose, with purpose.
And He’s still looking for students who will choose obedience over comfort.
Practical Step: Ask God today, “Where are You asking me to be bold?” Write it down. Then go. Step in. Say yes. You are here—for such a time as this.

About this Plan

God is calling each of us to share His message. In Isaiah 6:8, He asks, “Whom shall I send?” Isaiah responds, “Here I am. Send me.” That same question still stands today. Sharing Jesus can feel uncomfortable and intimidating, but God doesn’t ask for perfection—just a willing heart. Our job is to share; He’s the one who changes lives. This seven-day devotional will help you face the common barriers to saying yes and take your next step in faith. God is still asking, "Who will go?" - How will you respond?
