It’s an unpopular subject. Sometimes, at first glance, Christianity can look like nothing but a long list of things NOT to do! But the reality is so different.
God knows us well—He’s the one who made us! He has intimate knowledge of what will benefit and destroy us. Because this world contains wrong and evil, God kindly shared His wisdom and graciously gave us boundaries designed to help us to thrive.
Jesus said, in John 8:31, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
Living within the good boundaries God has given us is the freest way to live! God is not a wet blanket, bent on squashing our fun. He wants us to know what’s true, and He wants us to experience genuine freedom, as we were created to experience it!
Be encouraged today—living guided by God’s boundaries will help you to thrive!
