First Peter 3:7 challenges men to a better way: "Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner." Good husbands listen to their wives, really listen. Good husbands notice what their wives need. Good husbands don't compete and compare; they complement. Good husbands respect the sacrifices their wives make. When women get married, they have to give up more than just their maiden name. The arrival of children crashes into the woman's life much more than into the man's. Guys, these sacrifices deserve our appreciation and respect. God made women different not for us to feel superior, but to make our lives better.
