The Lie of “Too Small to Matter”
There’s a lie that shows up when you’ve been doing the right thing for a long time and nothing’s really changed: “This must not matter.”
You’re not seeing fruit. Nobody’s clapping. Nothing feels different.
Just because it hasn’t produced fruit on earth doesn’t mean it hasn’t produced fruit in heaven.
God works in the hidden place. And the small actions and rhythms in our lives are shaping who we’re becoming. Unfortunately, spiritual formation is hard to measure. You don’t get a notification when your character grows. But it’s happening, little by little, in every quiet act of obedience.
Sometimes the fruit is peace where there used to be panic. Self-control where there used to be spiraling. Stillness where there used to be striving.
Faithfulness isn’t loud. But it is eternal.
Reflection Prompt:
What’s one area where you’ve been expecting earthly fruit, but maybe God is storing the harvest in heaven?

About this Plan

This 7-day devotional is for those who feel unseen. The one who keeps showing up, keeps praying, keeps serving quietly. Whether you're working a job you don't love, raising kids without applause, or serving in places no one notices, this devo is for you. Rooted in 1 Corinthians 4:1-2 and the picture of the “under-rower,” Found Faithful is a daily reminder that even when no one’s watching, God is. Your obedience still matters. Your faithfulness is forming you. And in time, you won’t have to fight to be seen. You’ll be found faithful.
