Day 4: Consistency is Restored Through Repentance

Devotional:

After Peter’s denial, Jesus didn’t discard him He restored him. In John 21, Jesus asked Peter three times, “Do you love me?” Each question confronted Peter’s failure and gave him an opportunity to reaffirm his love and commitment.

Repentance is more than just saying “I’m sorry.” It’s a turning point where we align our hearts back to God. Peter’s restoration was rooted in love and responsibility. Jesus didn’t just restore Peter’s relationship with Him He reinstated Peter’s mission to “feed My sheep.”

No matter how far you’ve strayed, God’s love always provides a path back. Consistency is restored through repentance and a renewed commitment to the assignment God has given you.

Daily Prayer:

Jesus, thank You for Your grace that restores me when I fall. I repent for any area where I’ve been inconsistent, and I realign my heart with Your will. Help me walk boldly in the assignment You’ve given me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
