What is Your Design?

For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. Ephesians 2:10

What an amazing God! This is one of my favorite scriptures. Knowing I am God’s masterpiece fills me with warmth and gratitude. Because God declares the end from the beginning, I can find peace in trusting and obeying Him, even when things don’t make sense. In His divine creative genius, He planned our design with the works He prepared beforehand so we can walk in them. Sister, everything about you has the spiritual DNA of Elohim, the Eternal Creator, making you a masterpiece. Read that sentence again! Say, “Everything about me has the spiritual DNA of Elohim, the Eternal Creator and my Father. I am His masterpiece!” Say it as many times as you need to. What we believe about God directly shapes what we believe about ourselves. If we truly grasp His greatness, we will understand our divine design. Let that sink in. For example, if you believe that God is King, you will believe that you are royalty. If you believe that He is Father, then you will believe that you are His daughter.

The word masterpiece means “work of outstanding artistry, skill, or workmanship.” That is what you are. This is your design, and everything in you, your gifts, passions, talents, personality, abilities, and experiences make up this masterpiece. You are an outstanding work of art, and your design is flawless. This is because you have been fearfully and wonderfully made by God, and you have to know it, understand it, and believe it! Sis, do you understand the magnitude of your divine design? If so, let today be the day you confidently walk in it!

Reflection: Sister, what is your divine design? Spend some time reflecting on your gifts, passions, talents, personality, abilities, and experiences. Can you see the masterpiece?

Prayer: Lord, thank You for my sister and the masterpiece she is! Help her to remember that she has been fearfully and wonderfully made and to walk in her kingdom identity.
