Go Into All the WorldSample

Stay Anchored, Stay Ablaze
It’s easy to lose passion when life gets heavy. But staying on fire for God doesn’t happen by accident, it takes intention.
Timothy’s journey wasn’t all smooth sailing. Leading in the early church came with pressure, false teachings, and spiritual battles. But Paul kept reminding him of two powerful truths: to hold tightly to God’s Word and to keep the fire of his calling alive.
In 2 Timothy 1:6-7, Paul writes, “Fan into flame the gift of God which is in you... For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.” That encouragement is just as relevant today.
The fire God places in you is meant to burn bright, but like any flame, it needs tending. The Word of God is your anchor. Time with God is your fuel. Community is your covering. When the world feels loud, these are the things that will help you stay grounded and on mission.
You don’t have to burn out. You don’t have to go cold. Stay close to the source. Let God stir your heart again.
Spend some time today reading scripture out loud. Ask God to reignite your passion for him. What is one habit you can put in place this week to keep your fire burning?

About this Plan

Go Into All the World is a bold invitation for every believer to live Spirit-empowered and on mission. Through the stories of Philip, Barnabas, Timothy, Lydia, and others in Acts, we’ll discover that evangelism isn’t just for the few; it’s for all of us. God has given us the grace and power to share Jesus with our world, and now it’s our turn to say yes!
