SurrenderSample

There are days I don’t understand why life feels so heavy. The injustice, the betrayal, the questions with no answers—it can all feel too much. I’ve tried to carry it, to fix it, to figure it all out. But it’s exhausting. I hear the call to surrender, and I’m learning it’s not about giving up—it’s about giving over. Over to the only One who doesn’t change.
Surrender doesn’t come naturally to me. I want to trust, but fear gets loud. I want to let go, but my grip tightens when things feel uncertain. And yet, God keeps showing up in the chaos. He reminds me, “Take heart. I’ve overcome.” Even in pain, He stays. Even in the dark, He is near. So today, maybe not perfectly, but honestly, I whisper, “Lord, you have my surrender.” Not because I feel brave, but because He’s faithful. I’m choosing to trust—step by step.
