Going All In with Jesus

Have you ever wanted to go “all in” on something? Maybe you tried out for a team, started learning an instrument, or decided to commit to something that really mattered to you. Going all in means you’re serious—no half-hearted effort, no turning back. Baptism is like that. It’s a way of saying, “I’m all in with Jesus.”

When you decide to follow Jesus, it means choosing to leave your old life behind—the mistakes, the guilt, and anything that separated you from God. Baptism is an outward way of showing that inward change. It’s a symbol of what’s already happened in your heart. When you go under the water, it’s like saying goodbye to your old life. And when you come up, it’s a picture of stepping into a brand-new life with Jesus. It’s like hitting the reset button, saying, “I’m starting fresh with God, and this is who I am now.”

But here’s the thing—baptism doesn’t save you. Jesus already saved you the moment you chose to believe in Him. Baptism is about letting the world know, “I belong to Jesus, and I’m going to follow Him all the days of my life” It’s a bold move, a way to show that your faith isn’t just private—it’s real, and you’re serious about it.

Remember that baptism wasn’t just a one-time event—it’s the start of a life that says, “I’m all in with Jesus.”
