When God Says No!Sample

When God says no, it might tend to hurt us. Here are a few reasons why these "no's" hurt. Understanding these reasons will help us gain perspective on how we are to respond to the "no's" that we receive from God.
"No's" hurt when we are not already on the altar. We are not a living sacrifice. We keep moving off the altar. Is our all laid on the altar? Have we surrendered our lives so that it is Christ who now lives in and through us? Are we truly convicted of this? Are we just regular Sunday attendees? Are we "fruitcake believers" who celebrate just Easter and Christmas?
That is why being in a Bible-believing community is key. We must stay in fellowship. The "no" hurts most when we are away from the altar. If we are on the altar, we know that it is out of the goodness of God’s heart and foreknowledge that He has said no. The further away from the altar we are, the more the "no" hurts.
Prayer
Lord, help me surrender my life to You completely. Help me lay it all down on the altar. Give me the strength and courage to let Christ live through me. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

About this Plan

In this plan we look at what we should do when God says no. We know the Lord gives with grace and glory; no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. But at times that is by saying no! Sounds like a paradox? Join us to find out how this is possible.
