At the end of every week, we'll give you a challenge—something to try that might be outside your regular routine. Each challenge is designed to help you develop one important spiritual habit. This week, it's...
USE YOUR GIFTS
God has given all of us unique gifts. Whether it's your skills, talents, character traits, experiences, lessons learned, or even some of the stuff you own, you have a lot you can share with others. Today's challenge is going to help you think about the gifts God has uniquely given you, and how you can use those gifts to love God and others. Because when we use our gifts for God, we grow!
The gifts you've been given are part of God's plan for your life. Where you see yourself excel or the activities that bring you happiness aren't by accident. Today, take a few minutes to sit down and consider how you came to be good at a particular gift or skill. Consider how you've seen God lead you to a place where that thing can be used to show others they can celebrate how God can do the unbelievable.
Once you've thought about how God's past plans have led you to this place, spend time in prayer thinking about how that gift can be used for God's glory in the future. Make a plan for how you can take a next step in that this week.
