One of the greatest temptations during hard times is isolation. In the Bible, when King Jehoshaphat heard that an army was coming against him, he could have panicked or withdrawn in fear. Instead, he gathered with his spiritual family and sought God together.

When you don’t know what to do, don’t do it alone.

• Isolation makes problems feel bigger and heavier than they really are.
• Staying connected to your church family strengthens your faith.
• God moves powerfully when His people gather in unity.

The enemy wants you to feel alone, but God designed you for community. This is why the Bible tells us not to forsake the gathering of the saints (Hebrews 10:25).

If you are facing confusion, fear, or uncertainty don’t pull away, instead, choose to connect. Stay connected to believers who will pray for you, encourage you, and speak life over you is very important in seasons like this.

Father, when I face battles, help me to stay connected. Guard me from isolation, and surround me with people who will encourage my faith. Let me be planted in Your church, where I can receive strength and wisdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
