Darkness to Destiny: Unleashing God’s Power in a Dark WorldSample

God has given us a mission: to spread His light even in the darkest of places and to those in them. Whether it’s school, work, or your social life, your choices on how you treat the world and the people in it should encompass everything He has taught you — love, truth, grace, and more. Even in the smallest of interactions, make sure that what you preach is what you practice and what you practice, you preach. Share this light with those around you in the hopes that they might do the same. In the Book of John, it is stated: “But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin” (1 John 1:7, NKJV). This fellowship with one another, with the world around us, is what we should continually strive for. It is the way to extinguish the darkness. It is the way we bring light to it. Remember, it’s not about how the world treats you; it’s about how you treat the world. And these things that which you have been given by Him are to be shared to that world in any way you know how. The world will be changed because of it. The Lord has handed you the possession of light — go out and share yours.
