Lent | Week 6: A New BeginningSample

Following Jesus changes the trajectory of your life, but it also fundamentally changes who you are. When you put your trust in him, he makes you a new person. The shame, regrets, and mistakes you used to carry don’t define you anymore. Your identity isn’t found in what you’ve done but in what Jesus has done for you.
How does knowing you’re a new creation change the way you see yourself? What old things do you need to leave behind as you step into who Jesus made you to be?
Pray: Jesus, thank you for making me new. Help me to live in the freedom of my new identity, leaving behind what no longer serves me. Amen.
