My Story – Sharing His Greatness

Reflect:

While it’s essential to spend time with Jesus, there are moments when He calls us to step out and share what He has done in our lives with others. In this story, the man who had been healed from demon-possession wanted to stay with Jesus, but Jesus sent him out to proclaim His greatness instead. Jesus recognized that the man’s testimony could impact others more profoundly than staying in His presence.

It’s easy to become so focused on our relationship with God that we forget the mission He has given us—to be a light in a dark world. Sometimes, in the name of spiritual growth or religious practices, we can isolate ourselves from those who need to hear about God’s love. But Jesus showed us that sharing His greatness with others is just as important as being in His presence.

Take a moment to pray, asking God to provide opportunities and give you the courage to share your story with them. Ask God to help you be a light in the world, sharing His love and compassion with those around you.
