DAY 14 – PSALMS 73-77

"You say, 'At the time I have planned,

I will bring justice against the wicked.

I will judge them publicly.’

When the earth quakes and its people live in turmoil,

I am the one who keeps its foundations firm."

Psalm 75:2-3

Throughout much of today’s reading, we hear cries for justice. Ultimate judgment belongs to God. He is the sovereign ruler over all and His timing is perfect. When we are mistreated, betrayed, or witness the great injustices in a world full of sin, we must resist the urge to sit in a seat meant for God alone. He is the righteous Judge, and apart from Him, no true justice can ever be achieved. More than we need justice for someTHING, we need the return of Someone. Upon His return, He will eliminate the presence of all sin, judge all wickedness, and bring final judgment to all people and things.

Prayer: Jesus, I declare that Your ways and timing are perfect. I trust You to bring justice against the wicked. In the meantime, I feast in the presence of my enemies, remembering that there is a table where I find provision and rest. I eagerly await the day we will share this meal together. I apply Your blood over my sins and every injustice that burdens my heart. Amen.
